Question. What is it not to take his name in vain?

Answer. To make use of the NAME of God, and the good things of God to his glory, and our own good, not vainly, not irreverently, not unprofitably.

“That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” [2 Thessalonians 1:12]
