Preface: America's Hero
In the 21st century the world is busy promoting man's utopia or a one world kingdom without Jesus Christ. Gone are the old ways of our forefathers- a God-fearing people.
"Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days. Some remove the landmarks." (Job 24:1-2a).We have steadily almost imperceptibly at times removed one by one the great principles that were part of the formulation of the United States of America. We have been busy for generations removing the anchoring landmarks that came as a result of the revivals God blessed this country with in its early years by the preaching of the word of GOD. We have disobeyed the commandment in Proverbs 22:28- "Remove not the ancient landmark which thy fathers have set."
What was the catalyst or reason for this downward spiral? Are you ready! The eyes of men everywhere had been clouded over with cataracts because of our apostasy or departure from the BIBLE … God’s word (and more exactly including the multiplicity of translations and corruption's to God's written word). This apostasy began in America in the BIBLE SCHOOLS early in the last century (1901) when Philip Schaff (with other rank liberals who had rot-gut unbelief in God's word within their hearts) colluded with the English RV committee of 1885 (Westcott and Hort) to produce the American Standard Version (ASV), also known as "the Rock of Bible Honesty" by the scholars, or more accurately, by Bible believers, as a prime example of a new age version of a corrupted bible.
This why we have seen since 1900 the American churches [in the main] abandoning the true faith in The BOOK. The so-called Christianity of today is very traitorous to The SON of GOD Jesus Christ! We are living in the APOSTASY identified in II Thessalonians. Now let’s run the clock back in time to the seventeenth century. In 1660, which was the period of time (demarcated with the years from 1500 to 1900) known as the era of the church of Philadelphia, the old stalwarts of the faith in that day lamented over the spiritual condition of the churches in New England. They saw an apostasy that was to be only local and short in duration.
We can see this was true because we have the clarity afforded by 20-20 hindsight, that the mighty moving of God's Spirit in the hearts and minds of the people of England, and in all the American colonies in 1730’s wrought a great thing: called The Great Awakening. The falling away (or apostasy) in their day (1660) was only momentary, and was to be remedied by God's people turning to the Lord with all their hearts, and with being prepared through fasting and prayer, and the seeking of revival. "The falling away" that is seen in 2 Thessalonians 2 is a reference to a final apostasy for which there will be neither remedy nor national revival. The era of the church of Philadelphia is gone!
Friend, the kicking and fussing of the Devil has been very successful in the duping and blinding of the people of our land. Our true heritage found in the old historical narratives, lies unread, and rejected. We would rather re-write history so that we can forget and get rid of God.
America has DIVORCED GOD!
Political correctness is the big order for our day. The people's rights movements have served … as an excuse … to live in ungodly wickedness and in rebellion to God. We are now in the era of the church of Laodicia. The last true wave of revival or awakening for America was experienced when J. Frank Norris, Mordecai Ham and Billy Sunday were preaching up and down the breadth of our land. Those old soldiers are now gone ... gone ... gone. The true Holy Ghost national revivals are now done ... done ... done. [The only revivals to be experienced now will occur only here and there on a local level.] The 21st century churches have fallen away or rotted out from the inside ... at first undetected ... then little by little ... until all that is rotten has come into view for everyone to see.The glory of the Lord hath departed. Ichabod!
