"In 1978, I heard my professor, Dr. McKay, tell us preacher boys in our Greek class (Beka Horton's college in Pensacola) that the King James Bible has errors, and is not the most accurate translation of the Bible. "And he marvelled because of their unbelief." (Mark 6:6a). When I heard this, I was not fazed! I stood! I had decided to stand on THE BOOK! I was "prepared". Believing is belief, and unbelieving is unbelief! "
"So The Trojan Horse Was Rolled Into The Bible Department! It begins with the schools. History shows that the Bible schools end up as the Bible corruption centers after the years roll by. There is one sure thing we can learn from history … and that is, men do not seem to ever learn from history. Does anyone remember why Harvard, Yale, and Princeton were founded? They were founded as Bible schools."
"The fires of revival spread amongst the Christians and the souls outside the churches got saved. It spread throughout New England and all over the colonies. God brought George Whitefield at this time to further affect our forefathers with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Tens of thousands of people would congregate in the open fields to hear the Gospel. God also used Charles and Gilbert Tennant of Pennsylvania in an outpouring of evangelical power. It was estimated in New England alone that of a population of 250,000 people, over 50,000 souls were saved (born again) and added to the kingdom of God."
"Our first educational system was born out of John Cotton's book: Milk For Babes, Drawn out of The Breasts of both Testaments, 1646, and in its condensed form, became the New England Primer which is how many earlier generations of Americans migrating west learned their ABC's. The Primer posed questions like this, "What hath God done for you?" Answer: "God hath made me, he keepeth me, and He can save me." 28 Hello! No evolutionists here! Just straight-shooting Bible-believing folk here! The New England Primer's influence was felt for nearly three hundred years in America. (The Dallas, Texas, public schools maintained a Bible study curriculum (a credit course) in 1946.)"
"Insanity! Insanity! One has to wonder at the insanity we see
today in America. One has to wonder of the “vain" imaginations and "the
darkened" foolish hearts as revealed in our sense of political
correctness. Nowhere is this manifestation of our corporate insanity so
greatly shown but by our wicked philosophy in the rearing of our
children. Do you remember the old principle that is revealed in the Old
Black Book (the AV 1611), which God wrote, "sin will drive you crazy?"
Just try messing with the Book, and you will see what will happen! Just
look at America! "
"For those of you who know me well … you know me to be a man fraught
with many imperfections and blemishes. Do I hear an Amen? Amen! Amen!
Amen! I know you are absolutely right in your observation of this old
sinner. I am a sinner saved by God’s grace … for which I am not a
deserving recipient. “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love
wherewith he loved us,” (Ephesians 2:4) is so great a love that he took
this old sailor for his very own child though he was so ruined by sin. I
say to my wife all the time that she is married to a most difficult man.
Truly she is."
